Simple Step-by-Step Candle Making

1. Prepare the mould

• Lightly spray the inside with silicone spray, especially around detailed areas.

• Cut a wick slightly longer than the mould and thread it through the centre.

• Secure the mould with rubber bands and anchor the wick at the top using a toothpick so it stays taut.

2. Pour the wax

• Melt your beeswax in an enamel or heat-safe pot to around 60°C.

• Pour slowly so the wax flows into all the mould’s hollows and fine details.

• Allow the wax to cool and set completely (time will depend on room temperature and wax type).

3. Unmould and finish

• Remove the rubber bands, gently open the mould, and take out the candle.

• Trim the wick at the base and leave about 1 cm at the top.

• Neaten the bottom of the candle with a knife and dip the wick end in warm wax to seal.
