Our Happy Beeing™ nucleus colonies are ideal for beginner and experienced beekeepers looking for healthy, productive honey bee colonies that are easy to manage and well adapted to Northern Rivers conditions.
Each five-frame NUC includes a mated queen bee, brood in all stages, worker bees, honey stores, and pollen reserves, ready to establish quickly in your Langstroth hive.
Available for delivery across Byron Bay, Lismore, Nimbin, Casino, Kyogle, Ballina and surrounding Northern Rivers areas.

NUC Delivery Information
Your live bee colony is delivered directly to your property in a secure ventilated nuc box.
We return within 14 days to collect the transport box. If you wish to keep the box, a $30 replacement fee applies.

Delivery Conditions
- Hive location ideally within 15 metres of vehicle access

Important Beekeeping Notes
- Allow colonies 1 to 2 weeks to settle before adding supers or splitting
- Availability is seasonal and spring pre-orders are recommended
- Ongoing hive management remains the responsibility of the beekeeper
- Varroa and beetle treatments require ongoing monitoring and maintenance

Perfect for beginner beekeepers wanting support with hive setup and pest management.

- Hive placement guidance
- Initial Varroa mite treatment setup
