Flow Hive Setup & Mentoring Northern Rivers NSW

Practical support for new and existing Flow Hive owners from local Flow Hive Ambassadors based in the Northern Rivers.

Proud Flow Hive Ambassadors

Happy Bee is proud to support the Flow Hive community as local Flow Hive Ambassadors based in the Northern Rivers of NSW.

We help new and existing Flow Hive owners with practical setup assistance, nucleus colonies, seasonal guidance and real-world beekeeping support suited to local conditions.

While Flow Hive equipment itself is purchased directly through Flow Hive, Happy Bee provides local mentoring, bees and practical support to help people begin their beekeeping journey with confidence.

Why we started Happy Bee

John Wooding’s journey into beekeeping began after watching Cedar and Stuart Anderson share the original Flow Hive story on Australian Story.

Inspired by the idea of reconnecting people with bees, ecology and the natural world, John and his wife Sascha gradually built Happy Bee and its apiaries across the Northern Rivers.

Like many new beekeepers, the early years involved plenty of learning, challenges and surprises - experiences which now help shape the calm, practical support Happy Bee provides to new beekeepers today.

Happy Bee now supports Flow Hive and traditional beekeepers across the Northern Rivers with practical mentoring, nucleus colonies and pollinator-friendly beekeeping focused on long-term sustainability and confidence.
