Healthy Bees & Colony Inspections

All honey bee colonies undergo strict health and pest inspections prior to installation.

Checks include:

• American Foulbrood (AFB)
• European Foulbrood (EFB)
• Brood pattern and brood health
• Overall hive strength and condition
• Confirmation of a healthy laying queen bee

All colonies are supplied with a live, actively laying queen at the time of installation.

Honey bees may forage up to 5km from the hive and interact with environments beyond our control.
