A durable 10-frame escape board that will last you a while. Made from galvanised steel and wax-dipped for extra durability. The four escapes have been riveted into place. 

Escape boards (also known as a clearer board) are a great help when you are ready to take a box of honey frames off your hive. They make the honey extraction process a lot easier. To use an escape board, slip the escape board in between two boxes with the metal escapes facing up and wait about 24 hours (48 hours in cold weather). The bees go down into the brood/lower box but the escapes prevent them from going back up into the super. When you pull the super off to extract, your life will be a lot easier because you will be dealing with about 80% less bees.
