These boxes are a niche product at HBS; for those who prefer rebated joints to finger joints in their boxes. These rebated boxes are made from standard grade plantation-grown New Zealand radiata pine. The timber is standard grade. You might find a few tight knots here and there. Most knots are away from the joints. 

You will need tools and materials to assemble these boxes. We also recommend that you treat the wood with linseed oil or similar so that it lasts longer. If you would prefer your box pre-assembled and pre-treated, please see our ready-to-go boxes.
