Made in California at Acorn’s state-of-the-art facility, this foundation is produced from rigid, food-grade plastic that won’t bend, bow or warp. The cells are precisely moulded to encourage smooth comb construction and reliable honey storage. Two optional snap-off communication holes at the bottom corners give your bees easy movement between frames.

For best results, we recommend coating the foundation with melted beeswax before adding it to the hive. This helps your bees accept the plastic more quickly and start drawing comb faster. Bulk quantities are available on request — please contact us for pricing.
