This assembled hive kit comes with everything you need to start a hive. All wooden components are assembled and treated for longevity. You can move the bees in straight away. The perfect thing if you've caught a swarm or if you are purchasing a package of bees. 

This complete beehive kit comes with the following:

• Traditional base: 10mm Weathertex board with 25mm riser, wax-dipped and painted for durability. Two white cypress cleats raise the hive from the ground, providing extra resistance to rot and termites.

• Full-depth box, made from plantation-grown New Zealand radiata pine, assembled, wax-dipped and painted.

• Assembled migratory lid: 10mm Weathertex board for insulation, with tin for extra weather protection, and wax-dipped and painted rim with 4 vents to regulate heat inside the hive.

• Assembled, wired frames: tacked and glued, with stainless-steel spring wire. Ready for foundation.

Note: this kit comes without beetle traps. HBS staff strongly recommend that you buy a beetle trap to manage small hive beetle.
